The North Berwick U16s won their third game in succession at Livingston today. They scored fourteen tries and conceded only one. The pick of bunch was when prop Byers collected a Livi restart and barged his way through the opposition forwards, side stepped two further defenders then showed a burst of speed to score under the posts. This was his final act as he injured himself as he fell over the line.
Livingston are a young team and during a spirited second half managed to slow down the NB scoring rate considerably. They also deservedly got themselves on the score sheet after a try from a quick penalty move. Final score Livingston 5 – 82 North Berwick.
The U16 are away again next week with a fixture against Murrayfield Wanderers.
