Run as a mini pool of 4 teams playing touch-rugby, North Berwick were drawn with Currie, Watsonians and Stewart's Melville.

Having learned a couple of lessons from the previous encounters, and, more importantly, concentrating hard at one or two simple things, the overall performance improved, and the coaches were delighted with the progress. All of the players were much less hesitant and really took the game to the opposition. Doing their best to hold a defensive shape, and getting the ball to the fast runners when it mattered, they held their own against all of the other teams.

Once again, the "tournament-within-a-tournament", system worked very well, and meant the teams had an opportunity to play plenty of exciting, running rugby, and all departed with well-earned medals. The travelling support was also very much appreciated by both kids and coaches.

Those that travelled in on the team bus for the first time started the day in high spirits, and this was carried through to the end of the afternoon, when they,(all 6 1/2 of them) took over the Stewart's Melville stand and cheered the P7 team on to a resounding victory.

The whole P3 squad have now had an opportunity to play in a competitive match, and the coaches are extremely proud of every one of them.
